Yep, you read that right: the newest burger at Japanese burger chain Lotteria comes with milk chocolate sauce on top.... and that's not even the grossest part. There's also a dollop of honey mustard, because having chocolate sauce on your sandwich without any sweetened mustard is just plain weird.
Instead of beef, the burger, (¥390, $3.80 USD), features a baked chicken thigh patty.
Judging by this taste test of Lotteria's new chocolatey french fries, which come with a packet of Ghana milk chocolate sauce (the same brand used on the burger), the chicken-chocolate-honey mustard combo might actually be palatable, but only because this RocketNews24 taste-test revealed that the chocolate sauce served with the fries "[doesn't] taste like chocolate at all."
On the off chance that you want to try it for yourself, the chocolate and honey mustard grilled chicken burger will be available starting today (February 6th), and will remain on the menu until the end of the month.
