The last time we heard of an In-N-Out pop-up, they were in Singapore (and previously in Tokyo, Sydney, and Shanghai). Today, the chain set up their latest pop-up in Hendon, London, for four hours at Florence Cafe, promoted through the powers of a small newspaper ad...and Twitter. Burger blogger Nick Andrews of Burger Me! was first in line for a Double Double Animal Style (£4, about $6.45) and wrote about his experience here.
Like with all the other non-U.S. cities In-N-Out has held pop-ups in, In-N-Out isn't planning on opening a location in London. Here's In-N-Out's explanation, from an email sent to @danpeters:
We have done events like this before in other countries and they are just one part of our efforts to promote and expand out brand as well as determine the best way to continue reaching out to customers around the world. We do not have any immediate plans to open a permanent restaurant there but this special event will help us make future decisions.
