In 2009 Virginia-based organic burger chain Elevation Burger announced plans to open in Lower Manhattan by the end of the year, then changed the plan to open near Union Square by May 2010. And then...that didn't happen.
But franchisees are finally opening Elevation Burger for real next month, aiming for the first weekend of December, at 103 West 14th Street (between 6th and 7th avenues). Elevation Burger uses freshly ground 100 percent USDA-certified organic, grass-fed, free-range beef, and serves fresh-cut fries cooked in 100 percent olive oil. They also use environmentally friendly, renewable, non-polluting materials in the construction of their restaurants.
We haven't reviewed Elevation Burger on AHT before, but reactions from AHT-ers are mixed. What do you think of Elevation Burger?
