A little over a year ago President Obama ate lunch at Ray's Hell Burger in Arlington, Virginia, with Vice President Joe Biden. Today Obama returned to Ray's for lunch with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, says The New York Times. Here's what they ate:
Mr. Obama had a cheddar cheeseburger with onions, lettuce, tomato and bread-and-butter pickles, with a bottle of iced tea to wash it down. Mr. Medvedev also ordered the cheddar burger, but he added jalapenos, onions and mushrooms, and paired it with a bottle of Coca-Cola.
From Fox News, Medvedev's comments about the burger:
Later at a joint press conference in the East Room at the White House, President Medvedev called his burger, "tasty." He also said the spot was an "interesting place" but it's "probably not quite healthy." Medvedev also said he could "feel the spirit of America."
The spirit of America is damn tasty.
