Congratulations to Michael Moss of the New York Times on winning the Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting for his piece, "The Burger That Shattered Her Life." Moss focuses on the story of Stephanie Smith, who became paralyzed after eating an E. coli-tainted burger, in tracing the journey of the burger patties made of Cargill-processed beef, and uncovers the flaws of beef inspection. This week, Moss is taking questions about food safety, food processing and ingredients in New York Times' blog, Diner's Journal.
