Yesterday afternoon, two pilots landed their planes on frozen Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis to grab burgers at Burger Jones. Not knowing it was illegal to land there, they received tickets for parking illegally, reports WCCO. Park Police Captain Robert Goodsell told StarTribune.com that a permit must be obtained in order to land on a lake, and it would only be for special events—probably not applicable to midday burger cravings.
