File this under "reasons to visit Kuala Lumpur": to get a Ramly burger from Bob Burger. Malaysian blogger Bangsar-Babe reviews this burger stand with photos showing how the Ayam Double Cheese Special is made: griddled patty is seasoned with pepper and Worchester sauce, then topped with cheese and chili sauce and another patty. The stacked patties are wrapped in a thin layer of fried egg, then put on a bun topped with shredded lettuce, sliced onion, chili sauce, black pepper sauce, and mayonnaise. ...Then topped with more chili sauce and mayonnaise, and stir fried onions. This beast of a burger is only RM 4.80, about $1.40.
Her burger is made with chicken patties, but I think the menu says that beef and fish patties are also available. (Malay speakers, feel free to tell me more.) As much as I love simple burgers, I'm intrigued by the extreme as well. If only someone could make one of these for me stateside.
