"This is the pinnacle of exhausting consumerism, deficient gastronomy and very unpleasant odours in the context of a museum," said one art historian at the Louvre.
Although many people in France may dislike McDonald's, plenty of people seem to love the chain: France is McDonald's second-biggest market after the U.S.
