It's being pitched as "most intense Kitchen Nightmares of the year." The first installment aired last Friday and tonight is the conclusion which includes the a reworked Burger Kitchen menu, staff, and interior.
Congratulations to our friend and burger documentarian George Motz, author of Hamburger America, for his upcoming role as host of Travel Channel's Made In America. In the show George "explores 39 factories that crank out some of the most ingenious products this country has to offer"—nothing burger-related, but with George as host, it'll surely be worth watching. (George also has a Hamburger America TV series on his plate, but it's still in development.) Made in America will premiere October 4 at 8 p.m.

In his reality show Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution, English celebrity chef and media personality Jamie Oliver aims to bring awareness about healthy eating, where food comes from, and diet-related disease to Americans. (He's done the same in the UK with his shows Jamie's School Dinners and Jamie's Ministry of Food.) The first season took place in Huntington, West Virginia; in the second season, he's in Los Angeles, attempting to bring his food revolution to the public school system and—closer to the heart of this blog—reinvent a family-own fast food joint.
It's not breaking news that burger joint Patra's got a healthy makeover in the show—Oliver manned the grills at Patra's back in February—but the season is still going (now on episode four since it started airing in April), and if you haven't started watching the show yet, it's worth checking out.

Fox recently released a few clips from their new animated comedy, Bob's Burgers, a show that follows restaurateur Bob Belcher as he attempts to run/continually re-open his failing burger business with his wife and three kids. The show is created by Loren Bouchard (Dr. Katz, Home Movies) and features the voice talents of H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, and Kristen Schaal. It'll air midseason next year on Sundays at 8:30 p.m.
