This post is from my trip to South Korea back in May 2009. I didn't put it up at the time because it was far from being a significant part of my trip and after I wrote it, I realized it was sort of...totally...pointless. But I'm resurrecting this two-year-old post from the land of forgotten drafts due to this week's topic of memorable food we've smuggled home on a trip. More

Last Friday the GS Supermarket chain in South Korea unveiled "The Greatest Burger" featuring a chicken patty (aw, where's the beef?) topped with tomato, cucumber, lettuce, and pickles, for a total weight of 600 grams (21 ounces) and a diameter of 25 centimeters (9.8 inches), according to The Straits Times. Each burger comes in a large cardboard box and is meant to be shared between six people (like Burger King's Pizza Burger). The regular price is 12,000 won ($10.70), but it's being sold for only 5,000 won until Thursday. The burgers sold out on their first day. More
