A heads up to fans of Rub BBQ's Monday Burger Nights: There will be no burgers tonight due to a power outage (damn rain storm!), the first burger-less Monday night in almost two years. Burgers should be back next Monday.

AHT Giveaway: Fatty Melt Meal for Two at Rub BBQ (Plus a Look Behind the Scenes)

As we mentioned in our previous giveaway post, in honor of National Hamburger Month our friends at Rub BBQ in New York City will be serving AHT-inspired Fatty Melts this coming Monday, May 30. Rub usually only offers burgers at dinner, but this time the Fatty Melt will be available during lunch and dinner from noon to 9 p.m, for $10.25.

Tonight's Special Burger at Rub BBQ: The Blackened Burger

We don't usually post about Rub BBQ's special burger every week (although we do like them), but since Kenji and I just ate it earlier today and I have burger porn to share with you, here you go! Tonight's special burger available until 9 p.m. is the Blackened Burger ($9.25) featuring a charred Cajun-spiced patty topped with cheddar cheese and chili pepper relish (don't worry; it gives it a little kick, but it's not too spicy).
