If you've ever craved spiced ham from a can served cheeseburger style for breakfast, you're just the target demo Burger King Japan is hoping to reach with their new line-up of breakfast items.
The Spam burger (¥260, or about $2.50 US), is made with a slice of Spam topped with cheese, tomato, pickles, lettuce, and mayo on a whole wheat bun. According to The Huffington Post, this isn't BK Japan's first brush with Spam. In 2011, the chain introduced Spam sliders, targeting them to women with the slogan "What women want, what women get".
Other items on the new BK Japan breakfast menu include a "Morning Burger" with cheese, a hot dog with ketchup and mustard, a Bolognese burger with meat sauce, a BLT burger, a fish sandwich, and a beef and ham sandwich. For a closer look at all the sandwiches, check out this post on Rocket News.
