Not too long ago, the idea of topping a burger with a fried egg was exotic. Now? Not so much! This week, we're asking you feel about eggs on burgers. So, what do you say? Way, or no way? Take the poll and let us know.

Results from last week's poll

Last week, we asked how long you're willing to drive for an awesome cheeseburger. Somewhere between an hour (which captured 30 percent of the vote) and 45 minutes (25 percent) seems to be the sweet spot. The remainder of the poll results are as follows: no more than 20 minutes, 18 percent; 90 minutes, 12 percent; 2+ hours, 6 percent; 3+ hours, 10 percent.

Burger joints like Alamo Springs Cafe, White Manna (AHT review), Burger's Priest (AHT review), and Lion's Tap (among others) got special shout-outs in the comments. Here's what a few of you had to say:

I used to drive a little over 90 minutes from my house in Austin, TX to get the burger at Alamo Springs Cafe in Fredericksburg. Didn't do it often, but was totally worth it every time.

Ben Tripp

I'd drive the distance to Riverside in traffic (because Southern California) to get the burger at The Salted Pig. SO surprisingly amazing, I had no idea good things come out of Riverside, but it's better than any burger I've had in San Diego!

Amy D

If the burger is good enough, time and distance don't matter! I have no problem planning an entire road trip around a specific food that I can't get anywhere near where I live.

Note: the poll remains open, so these numbers may shift slightly in the future.
