Last Tuesday, we asked you to chime in with your discoveries of strange-yet-delicious burger toppings. Kimchi, beet root, and peanut butter all got multiple shout-outs. Here are some highlights from the 40+ responses:

A couple weeks ago, we tried a "Heisenburger" to celebrate the end of Breaking Bad. I totally stole this idea from a blog but don't remember which one, so I am not taking credit for this... Heavily season the burger with cumin, chili powder, garlic salt, etc. Top with a buttery fried egg, lots of green chili sauce and some crumbled blue tortilla chips. This was so incredible that we've made it a couple of times since!!

Ed. note: Here's the recipe!

As an Aussie I love the good old 'Burger with The Lot': grilled pineapple, canned beetroot slices, bacon and a gloriously runny fried egg along with the typical salad toppings and cheese! It's a lot to wrap your mouth around and white shirts shouldn't be worn within 5 feet of the thing but Good Lord, it's DELICIOUS!

I like super thin slices of green apple, a sprinkling of walnuts and a drizzle of honey on my lamb burgers.
