Disney World Sure Has Some Weird Burgers
If you thought the fried egg and jelly-topped doughnut burger at Slater's 50/50 (seen here) was odd, just wait until you get a look at all of the burger weirdness going on at Disney World, captured by AJ of disneyfoodblog.com.
Of all the burgers mentioned, it's tricky to pinpoint which are the most strange, but my top three picks would include the Angus burger with lump crabmeat and choron sauce at The Captain's Grill in Disney's Yacht Club Resort, the PB&J burger from the ESPN Club at Disney's BoardWalk Inn (topped with peanut butter, grape jelly, jalapeños, and bacon), and the "Famous, All-American Picnic Burger" from the Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park, which features a flame-broiled beef patty on top of a grilled hot dog, with mustard, pickle, ketchup, sauerkraut, and sautéed onions.
Take a look at the blog post for the full list (with photos) and let us know if any burgers catch your eye in the comments. Or, let us know just how much these wacky burgers offend your purist sensibilities. We're ready for it.
