Ground Chuck and Short Rib Burgers from Alexandros
Ground Chuck and Short Rib Burgers from Alexandros

"Fatty ground chuck and short-rib patties, with cheddar and American cheese, bacon bits and onion rings with an addition of bbq sauce. I formed the patties in metal rings, trying to maintain the grain of the grind, since I prefer my patties crumbling in my mouth instead of having to bite through. Then I cooked them to medium-rare in a think and heavy pan. "—Alexandros Veloudis, Alex Gordo's Burgers & Specialties

Homemade Chili Cheese Burger from Chris
Homemade Chili Cheese Burger from Chris

"A combo of Texas style chili, salad, onions, jalapenos and a Galloway burger. I put some salad on a bun, added chili and let shredded parmesan melt over the chili. Grilled a burger medium rare, put some extra cheese on the burger and let it melt and put all ingredients together. Sides: homemade chili cheese nuggets and salad (something healthy) :)"—Chris, Smokomotive BBQ

Kenji-inspired Smashed Cheeseburger from Søren K. Villemoes
Kenji-inspired Smashed Cheeseburger from Søren K. Villemoes

"This is my Kenji-inspired smashed cheeseburger made from freshly minced beef chuck with a couple of slices of cheddar cheese. The bun is called a krydderbolle (spice bun). It's a traditional Danish breakfast bun that is usually not associated with burgers. But as it's almost impossible to find proper burger buns in Denmark where I live, I found this specific bun to be most suited for burgers—the closest thing to a real burger bun in this country. It's sweet and have a slight taste of cardamom. People here find it very controversial when I tell them about the burger benefits of the krydderbolle. But no one around here can test my burger!"—Søren K. Villemoes
