Over on our sister site Slice, we've shared our readers' homemade pizzas on the weekly feature My Pie Monday since 2010. Now we're finally bringing the homemade burger-sharing action to A Hamburger Today in A Hamburger Tuesday!

If you want to share your homemade burgers on AHT (that means no burgers from restaurants), please email the following to with the subject line "A Hamburger Tuesday":

Photo: Send us one photo of your burger that's at least 610px by 458px, preferably horizontally oriented. (Hi-res photos are welcome!) Do not submit photos of more than one burger per week. The photo can be an email attachment or URL.

Description: Describe your burger in 100 words or fewer. Did you use special toppings or beef? Try out a new cooking technique? Feel free to include links in your description to your own blog or elsewhere.

Credit: Include your Serious Eats username and/or real name, if you prefer, plus homepage link if you have one.

Deadline: The earlier the better. Get your burger in by 6 p.m. on Thursday afternoon for definite inclusion in the next week's roundup.

Need some inspiration? Check out techniques and recipes from The Burger Lab along with these 33 burger recipes.
