Tomorrow, November 6, is Election Day, and two burger joints are trying to encourage voters with free food.

Today, all US Shake Shack locations are giving out coupons for a free cup or cone of custard to customers who fill out a "Pledge to Vote" card.

Tomorrow, Z-Burger's Tenleytown, Southwest, and 14th Street locations will give a free Burger or cheeseburger to customers who wear an "I Voted" sticker or say "ZVote."

...Having said that, DCist points out that giving people free food for votes is illegal. Their suggestion is for Z-Burger to give away free burgers to anyone without the stipulation of having voted.
