Happy 10th anniversary to Burger Joint, the hidden-but-not-so-secret no-frills burger joint known for making one of the city's best burgers...and for being located behind a red curtain in the lobby of Le Parker Meridian. Although many other great burgers have popped up in NYC over the last decade, no one else can offer the odd juxtaposition of fancy-pants hotel and Burger Joint's decor: "'70s rec room-style diner," in the words of Adam Kuban.

To celebrate the big 1-0, Burger Joint is offering everything for 2002 prices all day: $4 hamburgers (instead of $6.89), $4.50 cheeseburgers (instead of $7.35), $1.25 fries (instead of $3.67), and more. Sorry for not getting the word out sooner, but they're open until 11:30 p.m., so you have about eight and a half hours to get there (and probably wait in a long line).

They're also selling this special 10th anniversary T-shirt for $19.95:
