If you want to try a burger whose patty is made of bacon—and you don't want to make one yourself using Kenji's Burger Lab recipe—head to Southern California mini-chain Slater's 50/50 for their July Burger of the Month: the 'Merica Burger featuring a 100 percent bacon patty topped with thick cut bacon, a sunny side up egg, "Bacon Island" dressing, and bacon cheddar cheese. (What, no bacon bun?) Because, you know, the more bacon you can squeeze into one bite, the more 'merican it is.
