Taking advantage of Burger King Japan's 15 strips of bacon for ¥100 deal, Japanese news blog RocketNews24 successfully ordered a Whopper with 105 strips of bacon. Impressive. But was it extreme/nauseating enough? Did it truly test the mettle of Burger King employees in Japan?

RocketNews24 reporter Mr. Sato decided no, so he went back to Burger King and ordered a Whopper with 1,050 strips of bacon, or ¥7,000 (about $86) worth of bacon. The burger/bacon mountain weighed 2.7 kilograms (about 5.95 pounds), contained roughly 14,300 calories, and took 2 hours to make.

RocketNews24's conclusion:

In any case, thanks to Mr. Sato's gluttony, we have learned that there is seemingly no limit to the amount of bacon you can add to a Whopper. Or maybe it's because this is Japan and they're just that dedicated to their customers; we're not sure if we could walk into a Burger King in America and expect the same level of service...

Sounds like a challenge. ...No, we're going going to try it.
