Man, and I thought the ham, turkey, and Swiss-topped Monte Cristo burger I ate at Rub BBQ was excessive. It's got nothing on the Kevin Butler, a double bacon cheeseburger with two deep fried Monte Cristo sandwiches-for-buns. The name comes from fictitious character Kevin Butler, who appears in Playstation commercials as Playstation's Vice President. Last October in an interview with Game Informer, Kevin said, "My favorite sandwich is a double bacon cheeseburger with two Monte Cristo Sandwiches as the bun." Last month (yeah, I'm a bit behind) the team behind NPR's Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me blog decided to actually make the sandwich. And thus the malformed fat-oozing burger monster in the photo above was born.

Oh, and eaten. You should read the reactions from WWDTM. Their conclusion: "It is undeniably delicious—you can't put that many lipids together and not make something tasty—but it is difficult to eat."
