The October issue of Consumer Reports features the results of a fast food burger poll taken by 28,000 of their readers. Out of 18 restaurants, In-N-Out and Five Guys tied for first with scores of 7.9 out of 10, while McDonald's placed last with a score of 5.6.

After In-N-Out and Five Guys, the third top spot went to Fuddruckers, while the bottom three were Burger King, Jack in the Box, and McDonald's. A Consumer Reports reporter did an informal taste test of Five Guys vs. McDonalds.
