Carl's Jr. Testing a New Footlong Cheeseburger

If thick burgers seem passé, make way for...long burgers. Carl's Jr. (and Hardee's, it seems) is testing a new Footlong Cheeseburger in select locations around the country. As Foodbeast and Fast Food Maven note in their reviews, the burger unfortunately doesn't use a long patty, but three regular, less exciting patties. The regular Footlong Cheeseburger (just meat and cheese) costs $4, while the deluxe version (with all the fixings) costs $4.50.
