Restaurant in Arizona Serving Lion Burgers for the World Cup

Weird burger news of the day: Il Vinaio restaurant in Mesa, Arizona, is offering South African-themed burgers made of lion and beef today and tomorrow in honor of the World Cup for $21, says azcentral.com. There's no law against eating lion meat, which in this case is coming from a USDA regulated free-range farm in Illinois. The restaurant has received hundreds of emails from animal rights activists, along with at least one bomb threat. No word on how these burgers actually taste— at the time of the article, restaurant owner Cameron Selogie hadn't tried the meat yet. UPDATE: Turns out the meat wasn't from the USDA regulated free-range farm Selogie thought it was. Fail.
