Events: 'Burgers for Autism' Fundraiser on April 26 in NYC

New York City burger blog Burger of The Month is teaming up with City Hall Restaurant in Tribeca to raise money for Garden Academy, a leading private school for children with autism in Maplewood, New Jersey.
The event will take place on April 26 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall Restaurant, who has donated their space and the food for the event. Tickets are $95 and include burgers, fries, sides, dessert, soda, beer and wine, door prizes, and more. Raffle tickets will also be sold for $25 each, or five for $100. All of the money raised will go to Garden Academy. Garden Academy is widely recognized to be the leader in education for autistic children, but the little money they receive from the state is not sufficient to run the school and they rely on these types of events to keep the program going.
You can register online or by mail; the tickets are all tax deductible. If you have any questions, e-mail burgersforautism@gmail.com. For more information, check out the Facebook event page.
