There's a new burger at The Burger Shoppe in New York City's Financial District: the Mac and Cheese Burger. I first envisioned a patty topped with macaroni and cheese, but the macaroni and cheese (cheddar, American, pecorino and Gruyère) are actually mixed with the meat and then formed into a patty (like this Rachael Ray recipe). To make it even more mac-and-cheese-like, after it's grilled the patty is topped with homemade cheese sauce and Gruyère bread crumbs. The 8-ounce burger is $15. I'll let you know if it's worth it.
