Best Burgers in Los Angeles from LAist

Today LAist unveiled their list of top basic and gourmet burgers in LA, determined after researching for six months and eating over 100 burgers. Their picks:

Basic Burgers

  2. Capitol Burger

  4. Apple Pan [AHT review]
  5. Hamburger Habit [AHT review]
Gourmet Burgers
  1. The Foundry on Melrose
  2. Father's Office [AHT review]
  3. Comme Ça [AHT review]
  4. Umami Burger [AHT review]
  5. Oaks Gourmet [AHT review]

There's some overlap with Damon's top 5 burgers in Los Angeles, but it looks like we have to check out the #1 winners. What do you think of LAist's choices?
