A Hamburger Today
My New Favorite Team: Hamburger SV

I know my perspective on the world is a bit skewed by my job here at AHT, but when this guy walked by me the other day, I couldn't help but feel as though it was a bit of kismet.
As it turns out, the fine fellow wearing this fine shirt was visiting Los Angeles on holiday from—you guessed it—Hamburg, Germany. Through an awkward, and surprisingly large, language barrier I was able to glean that his name is Tors and Hamburger is a football (i.e., soccer) club in Germany.
When I did a little research I discovered that Hamburger SV (Sport-Verein) is actually a multi-sport club with an impressive tradition. Their football team has quite a following in Germany. Of course, I am now a full-fledged Hamburger SV fan. Now I have to ask my German speaking friends to help me navigate the team's online store so I can get one of these fancy shirts for myself.
Oh, and Tors loves hamburgers and was thrilled to hear that he'd be featured on a burger blog. At least, I think that's what he said.
