Mallie's Sports Grill and Bar in Southgate, Michigan, holds the Guinness World Record for the world's biggest burger. (I thought this burger in Japan claimed that title, but I guess not.) Telegraph reports that the burger weighs 185 pounds and costs $499. Dig in?

Guinness is mistaking in this claim - the largest burger by far is the El Reno Fried Onion Burger made during their Fried Onion Burger Festival in May each year - 250 lb of meat, 150 lb of onions, 350 lb of bun totaling 750 lb of goodness.

@jojoprice: I'm not positive, but I think the "biggest burger" has to do with burgers that are commercially available, which is why a burger that was made once at a festival may not count.

That would make sense. Thanks for the clarification Robyn.
