Today is the last day to vote for your favorite green chile cheeseburger in New Mexico in a poll organized by the New Mexico Tourism Department. From over 130 choices, the top 20 will be included in The Green Chile Cheeseburger Trail, with 20 more to be added by a special committee. Already on the trail are Badlands Burgers, winner of the Governor's Green Chile Cheeseburger Challenge, and The Buckhorn Tavern, winner of the recent Throwdown with Bobby Flay. The full list will be revealed by October 30.

A.H.T., as a native New Mexican, and huge fan of green chile cheeseburgers ,I just want to say thanks for posting this.

@jword2001: No prob! I hope your fave place is on the list. If only I knew what a green chile cheeseburger tasted like.. :(

I vote for Bobcat Bite. I also recommend Bert's Burger Bowl. Both are in Santa Fe. There's a small chain in ABQ called Blake's Lotaburger which has pretty good ones for a chain.
@jword2001 - a green chile cheeseburger is wonderful. I, too, was skeptical, but have since become quite fond of them. There's something about that sauce.
