Video: The Tower Burger from Monster Cafe in Tokyo
Burgers with oversized diameters isn't uncommon, but the Tower Burger (タワーバーガー) from Monster Cafe in Tokyo goes for a different sort of extreme by consisting of six (or four; more information on that later) different burgers stacked on top of one another. In this video, Eric orders a Tower Burger (¥2625, about $29) measuring 39 centimeters (15.35 inches) high and goes through the contents of each burger (each one seems to come with lettuce and tomato):
- Bacon egg cheeseburger
- Cheeseburger with two slices of cheese and mustard
- Pineapple burger with tomato and teriyaki sauce
- Cheeseburger with two slices of cheese, pickle, onion, and mustard
- Spam burger
- Chicken burger
Of course, you can just get burgers one at a time. According to Eric, who notes in the beginning of the video that he's lived in Japan for a while and it can be hard to find a good burger, Monster Cafe's burgers are good. Watch the video after the jump.
