Blogwatch: A Burger with Charred Bits from Chuckwagon Cafe in Alberta, Canada

20090810-charredbits.jpg

Photograph from Patent and the Pantry

Over a four day period, Gwendolyn of Patent and the Pantry and her sister went on five-spot burger tour of southern Alberta, Canada. Luckily for those of us who weren't there, she took drool-inducing photos most of the way. My favorite photo: a close-up of the charred bits of the burger from Chuckwagon Cafe. Judging from Gwendolyn's review, I assume it was as good as it looks:

After the plates were set down, the first five minutes were punctuated solely with the sounds of beef contentment, echoed by little more than groans of acknowledgment.

For the rest of the burger tour, check out Patent and the Pantry.
