This Sunday, Taste 20 Burgers at the Feedbag Burger Summit in New Jersey

This Sunday The-Feedbag editor Josh Ozersky will host the Feedbag Burger Summit at the Summit Food & Wine Festival in Summit, New Jersey. Ozersky has brought together more than 20 chefs from the city and some of the most celebrated burgers, representing both the high- and low-end to compete in a variety of categories: haute burger, slider, classic, and specialty. Many of the participants are well known to AHT readers, such as Txikito, The Little Owl, Veselka, Wildwood Barbecue, Water Taxi Beach, BLT, Flip, Stand, and Minetta Tavern (the rumor is that the Black Label may even make an appearance).
But there will also be some less likely participants, such as Le Bernadin, La Fonda del Sol, Park Avenue Spring, Fatty Crab, and Perry Street, among others.
I am most excited about the legendary Steak & Shake chain participating in the event—I have never had one of their burgers and am looking forward to it. Of course, since I will be a judge at the event, I won't know which burger is which until the competition is over.
