National Hamburger Festival This Weekend in Akron, Ohio
The National Hamburger Festival is almost here! From Saturday, July 18, to Sunday, July 19, the fourth annual patty party will be held in Akron, Ohio. From live music to the National Burger Cook-Off, there's plenty of burger-centric entertainment for everyone. This year, the organizers are introducing pickle "crunch-offs" where competitors will receive a Vlasic Baby Kosher Dill Pickle and take a bite into a microphone. May the loudest pickle cruncher win! Other special events include the Miss Hamburger Pageant (who has the best poise and personality paired with the most burger knowledge?) and the Baby Burger Contest (no idea what this has to do with burgers; people just like babies).
