The Hamburger Cushion, on Etsy

20090730-burger-cushion.jpg

Will the Hamburger Cushion become a meme in the way the Hamburger Bed did?

Who knows and who cares—it's a whole lot more functional and practical. For sale on Etsy, where it's described as "Hamburger Scatter Cushions," it comprises three large cushions (bun top and bottom and patty), two small tomato cushions, and lettuce-leaf and cheese plushies.

Its country of origin is Australia. Take that into account if you want to order one, as it's available stuffed and unstuffed (easier for shipping; stuff it yourself on arrival). Hamburger Scatter Cushions, Etsy, $300AUD/$245USD or $290AUD/$235USD

damn it!! my birthday was last week!!

That has got to be one of the coolest home accessories ever!

its actually kinda cute deconstructed. i especially the tomatoes.

seems kinda expensive. im pretty sure i could make that myself with a week and about $75-100 worth of fabric

I'm sure you could, akapluto, but you're not paying for just the fabric when you have someone else do it.

***grabby hands**** want this!

My only complaint is that the meat patty and the bun look the same. Frankly, I asked for medium rare.

"somone throw me a tomato"

I wrote about the hamburger bed on my blog but I'll probably stop there. I would maybe consider getting one of these more so than the bed though.
