Burgers Featured in the August Issue of 'Texas Monthly'

20090716-texasmonthly.jpg

Texas burger lovers, watch out for the upcoming burger-centric August issue of Texas Monthly. The issue doesn't come until July 23, but for now you can stare at the cover burger from Alamo Springs Cafe in Fredericksburg.

nearly ANY burger made in texas is a good one, yum!

Oh wow... that burger looks so divine.. I'm getting hungry just looking at it!!

HOT DAMN!!!!! I want a bite!!!

Did Texas really invent the burger? No.

I hate Texas Monthly.

Avocado has no place on a burger. Especially in Texas.

Good looking burger - but toss the avocado.

There was a major error in the Top 50 list. Coming in at #24 is a burger from Burgers, Fries and Cherry Pies. It is called the French Connection and is topped with bearnaise sauce. I never thought I would enjoy a burger without cheese, but WOW. It is absolutely delish.
