Video: Obama Burger Run to Five Guys on 'Inside the Obama White House'

20090603-obama-burger-run.jpg

On Friday we noted that President Barack Obama made a burger run to Five Guys with NBC's Brian Williams. Last night NBC aired footage of the most recent Obama Burger Run as part of the special report Inside the Obama White House. Skip to about 3:08 in for the juicy stuff. [Video, after the jump.]

Brian Williams referring to the greasy hamburger - "Life wouldnt be worth living without it".

Here Here!

This was posted here before - although - this one is more detailed. "Ketchup only"? Ugh. Brian must be a real bore to eat with.

the best part is the people behind the person taking the order... everyone's got like double fisted cell phones taking pictures of obama. haha.

I love how Obama eats the fries by holding the cup up to his mouth to take a first nibble - I've been there with those fries before.

Also, I'm sure peeps will come down on him for the whole "why can't the president encourage healthier food habits?" thing. In another part of the show, Brian Williams points out that every single room in the white house is overflowing with bowls of fresh apples to encourage healthy snacking. It's all about a balance, see?

@JudgeFudge: I've been there with popcorn before. But, yeah, 5G fries—there are so many that you almost have to inhale them to get through them.

Well, since Barack likes nauseatingly-overcooked burgers with no flavor, the tasteless, American Cheese-only Five Guys is much more suitable for his unsophisticated palate.
