There are loads of food trucks out there, but I don't think many of them are made of old school buses. The Burger Bus in Santa Barbara, California, is just that: a school bus that sells burgers. In an interview with The Santa Barbara Independent, co-owner Michael Gardner explained that he and his wife Cheryl picked a school bus because other options were too expensive (new trucks), too old (used trucks), or not large enough. Their burgers are made of 100 percent grass-fed, hormone-free beef from Shalhoobs and other locally-sourced products, such as the jalapeño jelly from Mama’s Preserves on their CB&J (cheeseburger and jelly). And for vegetarians, their menu includes falafel.

You can find the Burger Bus at different locations from Monday through Friday. Check out where at theburgerbus.com or follow them on Twitter at @TheBurgerBus.
