This week Serious Eats New York editor Erin Zimmer reviews Watty & Meg in Brooklyn and tries their grass-fed cheeseburger. I ate dinner with her that night to join in on the burgery goodness...and take photos. Autopsy shot after the jump.

Overall, it was okay. Not bad, not memorably good. I give it a thumbs up for having a nice layer of melted cheese and for being cooked to a moist rare (it looks more shockingly pink in this photo than it tasted) with a crust around the edge, but the bun was too large (you can see how much extra bread there is in the first photo) and I didn't find the meat all that flavorful. It's probably good if you live in the BoCoCa neighborhood (Boerum Hill-Cobble Hill-Carroll Gardens), but not something you'd go out of your way for.
