Hardee's Brings Back Six Dollar Burger

20090519-six-dollar-burger.jpgThe Six Dollar Thickburger is back by popular demand at Hardee's, according to Nation's Restaurant News.

The burger, introduced in 2002 but discontinued last year, consists of a half pound of charbroiled Black Angus beef topped with two slices of American cheese, mayo, ketchup, mustard, red onion, pickles, tomato, and lettuce on a sesame-seed bun.

The burger was and is $6 in name only. It got its moniker as a nod to what customers could expect to pay for a high-end burger at a casual-dining restaurant. It will be available, sandwich-only, for $3.99 at participating outlets or for $5.99 in a combo.

Didn't like them the first time,....could've save coming back a second time!

Gotta love Hardees/Carl's Jr for the effort! NOT!

I think the 'Pastrami Six dollar burger' was the most unhealthy fast food item in the country a few years back.

110+ grams of fat
1,000+ calories
and only God should know how much sodium.

Thanks Hardees/Carl's for helping America get even fatter.

If eating too much fast food leads to one's becoming obese and ill-health, you should be preparing a lawsuit... against yourself. Eat what you want, buy what you want to, and live with the repercussions of your own actions without holding the purveyor responsible.
