This isn't entirely true. If a restaurant grinds their beef in-house, it can be cooked to any temperature. Additionally, the law only covers beef so lots of places offer bison burgers that can be cooked to order as well.

i wonder if they make you wear a seat-belt while you're eating your over cooked burger.... or perhaps a helmet. beauracracy stinks.
