In Videos: Burger King Commercial for Spongebob Squarepants Kids Meals

20090407-spongebobsquarepants.jpg

How does Burger King sell Spongebob Squarepants Kids Meals to parents? They spoof Sir Mix-a-Lot's Baby Got Back with dancers dressed as Spongebob Squarepants sporting "cubicle butts." Because there's nothing more attractive than an boxy phone book-sized protrusion coming out of a woman's rear. And that's where two minutes and 23 seconds of my life went. Watch the video after the jump.

I saw this on TV last night and I laughed

I always wondered what's in those crabbie patties. If they're made of crab meat, is Mr Crabs a cannibal?

worst BK ever

There's just something a little--no, a lot--creepy about the already creepy king-dude commenting on the butts of the obviously underage dancers near him.

Watched this commercial for the first time last night. I will not shop at Burger King for at least one year. This ad teaches many wrong messages. You have to stand for something without crossing a certain line. This crosses the line. The kids are confused enough without this adding to it.
