I must say that I was perfectly willing despise both the show and the host but I find Adam's enthusiasm and the fact that they visit some classic places redeems it. I actually find Adam's commentary, especially his food descriptors quite good.

I'd like to get in my $.02 before the sissy-marys from the Heart Attack Grill thread arrive.

Man VS. Food is rapidly becoming my favorite show. Adam is a great host and seems very genuine. The behind-the-scenes kitchen footage really makes the show for me.

I love this show, too. Too bad it's on opposite Top Chef and Damage on FX...but they repeat all of those, anyway, at 11:00p.m..

I'm looking forward to this show as a fan of the show and hamburgers in general. And, it doesn't hurt that I live in the general Boston metro vicinity!

Shouldn't this be on ESPN?

too bad Eagles Deli is overrated.

This is a good show.

What a great job - going around the country and eating at cool places!

I concur...great show. Travel Channel has had some great FOOD coverage lately. This and No Reservations are two of my favs.

Show, concept, and food/challenges are great. Host is very lame...painful at times to watch him flounder with his array of really bad jokes. Professional eater with a better personality and commentary would of been the ideal host....couldn't of been that hard to find as the current host has set the bar very low.

Great concept and the host is the best thing about it. Enthusiastic and evidently able to eat mammoth amounts without losing the his lightheartedness. New favorite shoe.

I've watched the episodes from the begining and find him very entertaining (albeit I can't imagine what his colon looks like! SORRY IM A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL! and NO I don't condone the Heart Attack Grill!!! lol)
