Burger Smothered in Peri-Peri Sauce Is Too Hot to Eat

20090115-periperi.jpgHouston Press food critic Robb Walsh is not a fan of the peri-peri burger, which is topped with sauce made with African bird peppers, from Out of Africa in Sugar Land, Texas. He says it was too hot to eat: "Half of it is still sitting in my fridge. I am afraid to give it to the dog." (He notes that Out of Africa has other interesting burgers sans mouth-scorching sauce.)
