I read this too! And can you believe there was a sandwich assault in Florida not too long ago: http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/us/AP-ODD-Sandwich-Assault.html?_r=1
At first I thought it was a Floridian thing, but maybe victims in other states are just hesitant to report burger/sandwich related attacks.

@Pavlov: He, er, a-salted them too. He should have just a-peppered his girlfriend. God, I hope he didn't use the double quarter-pounder to pound her. Anyway, it's probably just a cheesy attempt at publicity.
