These lists seem pretty uninformed.

And Cliff's Edge is good, but The York is easily the best burger on the East Side.

yeah that list stinks. Hungry Cat, Bowery, 8oz. and 25 Degrees are all better than that crappy list...

lists like this tend to be pretty pointless... maybe interesting to see what another person's take is, but anything with the word "best" associated with it is subjective by nature and you can never really get a lot of agreement on any single list... i will say this, though... i think i might choke if i see the Apple Pan's overpriced, over-sauced, over-lettuced, and decidedly over-rated burger on another list of LA's best burgers... it is a landmark, no doubt, but not the best burger on the westside in my opinion. in general lists like this tilt on the side of reputation and hype rather than reality.
