Washington Redskins quarterback Colt Brennanreally loves In-N-Out. Washington Post sports editor Dan Steinberg described him as "the only player I know of who, when he found out a team employee was going to California, asked her to pass along his best to In-N-Out Burger." [Tip 'o the hat to: Tim M.]
Yeah, I don't know what it is; but for a large regional fast food chain, those guys do turn out some mighty tasty burgers. I'm going out there Nov.20. Can't wait.
I have lived in Southern California nearly all of my life, and "In-n-Out" is truly a wonderful place. You can even get your burger in a lettuce wrap (everything without the bun), but there's not a lot who really do that. There are always lines at every drive-in. And I have friends around the country that can't wait until they return home for one of these divine burgers.
I'm visiting my sister in Vegas in December. Never been there before. I'm told there is an In-Out located there. There are many reasons I am excited to visit the American South West with one of them being I get to finally try this fabled burger.
I was on travel for work back in 2000 and staying in Corona, CA. There was an IN-n-OUT next to the hotel that I was staying at. After about the 3rd day, I verntured in and was hooked immediately - pure cheeseburger crack! Needless to say, I ate atleast one meal there everyday, there after(I was there for about a month). It was good stuff, as well as Del Taco!
BigWoolyMammoth, I miss the hell out of In-N-Out since moving home to Seattle (not that Dick's isn't my favorite). My personal favorite is a double double, animal style, well-done fries and a Neapolitan shake- read this link, which I find hilarious. Any restaurant with a secret menu is ok in my book.
I was also going to say double double animal style! It's the best. Try it and you'll crave it! It's the secret menu - you won't find it posted but just ask!
In and Out is good, but the long lines look unattractive.
i would prefer Hinanos than in and out. too many kooks at In and Out..
but i do agree, good burgers for the price. the menu is simple and the employees are always hard at work....

Any suggestions for a rookie?
How does it compare to a Five Guys?
Any other must try burgers close to the strip?
