Look! Googleburgers

Not that you haven't seen these before, in some form or another, but this photo made the rounds recently and some people wanna see it on AHT. It's an array of Krispy Kreme doughnut burgers at the Google cafeteria at the company's New York office.

oh god... I think I just threw up a little in my mouth.

Exactly what I was thinking only you said it first. Please tell me they come with a complimentary bottle of Pepto Bismol and/or a barf bag.

GOOD LORD. I always wanted one, but now, seeing them en masse like that, I dunno... Has anyone here tried one and lived to tell the tale?

Man, thats just wrong!, i cheeseburgers, and KK's too, but not in the same mouthfull!

Those look DISGUSTING.

They don't want anyone fully vested so they cannot retire so they kill them with the handy meals. Good plan.

Hmm... I knew there was some increasingly negative news regarding Google's treatment of its employees as of late. However I didn't know they were outright trying to kill them.

Is Paula Deen their lunchlady?

They even have bacon! I'm workin' for the wrong company...

Amateurs! Paula Deen's so much better - she adds a fried egg and makes a Bacon, Doughnut, Egg Burger.

EWWWWWW!! It's a heart attack waiting to happen....There is absolutely nothing appealing about that. Yuck!!

Completely and totally revolting. Can I have mine with no mustard, please?

OMG...........As disgusting as it appears.............I would kill for one! YUM

I been DYIN to try one of these.....i wonder if they need any help at the google cafeteria !!!!

Someone should Google the fat/sodium/calorie content of those bad boys. I'm guessing the numbers are so high you'd need a ladder to read 'em.

Does Michael Phelps eat these?

I been DYIN to try one of these.....i wonder if they need any help at the google cafeteria !!!!

I think I just scratched google off my list of companies I want to work at. Not that I'm at all qualified to work at google.

LOL, bisbee. Just tell me they sit under a hot lamp for two or three hours between breakfast and lunch. ACK!

I could swear that Google's motto used to be "do no evil."

This photo proves that they no longer support that sentiment.

Ew? Disgusting? I think those look dee-lee-cious. Might have to make one of my own.

there are very, very few foods in the world that i'd consider disgusting. like, maybe four. i thought long and hard about it, and this is one of them. at first i thought it was an egg and bacon breakfast sandwich, and i could sorta imagine how that might be okay... but a burger... on a krispy kreme... is bad.

Notice that there are gaps in the line-up. Which means that a few souls actually had it. Likelihood of their survival is slim...so folks...there must be a few openings at Google. Right. About. Now.

Is that faux melted cheese (custard) and bacon (weird strips of chocolate)? If it's real, I'd say the good folks at Google are probably high on sugar all day.

It was real cheddar cheese and real bacon. I had one for lunch the day that photo was taken. It was glorious. Most days I stick with salad and freshly grilled fish - the Google cafeteria has many choices beyond those directly trying to kill us. But damm, these were too good looking to pass up. And OMG, the smell was a heady perfume of everything enticingly bad for you. Like the Scottish Deep-Fried Mars Bar, this is a delicacy that sounds awful on paper, but delights the taste buds in ways you didn't know you could be pleasured.

@Toasty: Awesome. I've never had a Krispy Kreme burger. Have been holding out hopes to somehow get in to Google lunch for one. Who knows.

I'm actually kind of disappointed that everyone here is neggin' on these burgers. These things are genius.

I read it was a one-time deal.

Looks good. For any of you that are disgusted, if you ever enjoyed your syrupy pancake and salty-greasy sausage together in the same bite, this burger has a shot at being pretty damn good...

@Big B: I'd imagine they'll be serving these again at some point. They've done it in the past at least a couple of times. All this has happened before, and it will happen again.

Oh, the humanity! Bleh, bleh.

(at first I thought they were bagelburgers, but then...)

I think it looks like a stomach ache, but I know if I had the chance I wouldn't be able to resist...

Lipitor! Stat!

Mmmm... cheese, grease, and sugar. I want one.
