Top 10 Fourth of July Burger Search Terms

20080625-americancheese.jpgSo a little birdie at Ask.com likes to email me with a rundown of the top 10 search terms related to whatever holiday or pop culture event is going on. Yeah, I know I'm taking the bait and providing free PR here, but it is kinda neat to see what folks have been looking at vis-a-vis burgers this holiday weekend.

Here, my contact has emailed me the top burger-related search terms just ahead of the Fourth of July. Here's what we're all checkin' out:

  1. Cheese
  2. Tomatoes
  3. Mushrooms
  4. Bacon
  5. Onions
  6. Mustard
  7. Pickles
  8. Avocado
  9. Lettuce
  10. Mayonnaise

That cheese better damn well be AMERICAN, folks! Although, if you don't like the processed orange stuff, our resident cheesehead, Jamie Forrest, has a great post on the subject: What's the Best Cheese for Cheeseburgers?

I hope you meant American-Made. That "American" cheese you pictured should never be called "cheese". It might be made with cheese, but cheese it is not.

I believe "cheese product" is the legal name?

Yeah, yeah. I know. It's still the best cheese product for burgers.
